TYPES OF MOUNTING: When ordering shades, you can choose between inside mount and outside mount options. For inside mounted shades, a deduction of approximately 0.4inch will be taken to ensure a proper fit within the window frame. These shades require a minimum frame depth of 2.4inch for secure installation. If your frame depth is less than 2.4inch, it is recommended to select outside mount. Outside mounted shades should be ordered with the exact width of the area you wish to cover. This type of mount is often used when there is not enough frame depth for inside mounting. Our shades come with all mounting hardware needed for both inside and outside mounting.

INSIDE MOUNT MEASUREMENT: - Measure the inside frame width at three locations: top, middle, and bottom. - Record the smallest measurement and deduct 0.4inch to get your customized width. - Measure the height at three locations: left, middle, and right side. - Record the smallest measurement as your customized height.

OUTSIDE MOUNT MEASUREMENT: - Measure the outside frame width and add 6-10inch to get the outside mount width. - Measure the outside frame height and add 6-10inch to get the outside mount height. - The recommended overlap provides proper coverage and avoids light gaps.
