In the fast-paced musical romp "Take Me Out to the Ball Game," Frank Sinatra, Gene Kelly, and Esther Williams experience romance, gangsters, and plenty of song and dance on the baseball diamond. Set in 1906, the champion ball club The Wolves rely on the powerhouse double play combination of O'Brien, Ryan, and Goldberg for their success.
However, trouble arises as O'Brien (played by Kelly, known for his roles in "An American in Paris" and "Brigadoon") and Ryan (portrayed by Academy Award winner Sinatra, famous for "From Here to Eternity" and "Pal Joey") would prefer to focus on their vaudeville career rather than baseball. Everything changes when the team gains a new owner, the beautiful K.C. Higgins (played by Williams from "Dangerous When Wet").
As the team prepares for a crucial game, a professional gambler who has placed significant bets against The Wolves employs every dirty trick in the book to manipulate the outcome. The baseball players must go head to head against the gangsters in a wild, hysterical, and musical nine innings.
